In MemoriamLt. Uil Gene Rabb, USN Retired age 82, passed away April 11, 2008. After serving 24 years in the Navy, he taught for ten years at DeKalb University in DeKalb, Illinois. After moving to Tucson, he then became the audio-visual director at Pima College. He was also the owner of Mac Walmans Appliance store and was an avid English car collector. Preceded in death by his former wife, Evelyn Erlene and son, Gary Van, Uil is survived by his wife, Myrtle Ann; son, Michael; and daughter, Linda; grandchildren, Staci, Gary, Michael, Bobby, Thomas, Sherry, David, Cyd, Mitch, Shelly, Chareese, Cassi, Ashlee, C.J., Ella, Shannon; and 29 great-grandchildren. A memorial service were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2008 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to TMC Hospice, 5301 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712. May Frers, wife of Carl Frers, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Funeral services were held at Desert Sunset Funeral Home on N. Oracle on Tuesday, October 4 at 9:00am. David L Wunsch
'64Eldo' 1947-2003 The Tucson Region extends its sympathies to the family
of David Wunsch who passed away on November 9 in Phoenix. David was National Vice President of the Antique Automobile Club of America and a long time member and past president of the local AACA. In 1999, under Dave’s leadership, the Tucson Region hosted two AACA back to back national meets - the Western Division National Meet

The antique automobile hobby and the Antique Automobile Club of America are saddened by the loss of Dave Wunsch, on Sunday November 9, 2003. As National Director, Dave was Vice President of Development & Support for the Central and Western Divisions as well as a member of the Publications, National Activities and Touring Committees. Dave was best known for his friendly smile, positive attitude and dedication to our hobby. Prior to serving as a national director, Dave served on the National Judging Committee for six years. During that time he held the position of Chairman Judges Training. He was involved in a major revision of the judging form that are used today at national meets. Dave received two national awards from AACA for his contribution to the success of the AACA Judging Program. He was respected by his fellow board members and a good friend to all. In 1999, under Dave’s leadership, the Tucson Region hosted two AACA back to back national meets - the Western Division National Meet and the Annual Grand National Meet. The Board of Directors, Officers and members of AACA, would like to express their condolences to Dave’s family for their loss. It was Dave’s request that any memorials be made in his memory to the AACA Library and Research Center. Many of Dave's friends and associates in the AACA left messages after his death.
