Editor’s Note

I was at the Tryon’s home painting memory boxes when the Antique Automobile magazine arrived in the mail -- Dean was showing off the cover page to everyone. We have heard about the GM Futurliner from him at several chapter meetings. I asked him to write an article on his participation in it and he did (see page 10). Thanks, Dean.

The Chili Cook-off is scheduled for March 25th. We were not able to match up with the Tryon’s on a date so the ladies got together at their home and painted the memory boxes (see page 9). The guys will assemble the trophies for our car show and weld signs. I am working on a project for the ladies and will talk about it at the next dinner meeting. Get out your chili recipes!

April will arrive before you know it. The Jan/Feb & March/April NC Region News will have registration forms for the AACA Judging School and NC Region Meet to be held April 20&21. Preregistration is required.

Take a look at the BOD meeting minutes and see what you could participate in or volunteer to coordinate. New ideas are always welcomed.
