Frequently Asked Questions

QHow do I get a flea market space (s)?

A:  In the May/June issue of the Antique Automobile Club Magazine there will be an activities card listing all the available activities pertaining to the AACA Eastern Divisional Fall Meet at Hershey.   Complete the activities card and mail to the National Headquarters.  An AACA staff member will then mail to you the appropriate registration card.   Complete the card and mail to Hershey Region AACA, PO Box 305, Hershey, PA.  There is a limit of (4) spaces per person (each space is approximately 30’ X 10’).   Assignment of spaces will be in order of post mark on the mailing envelope.

QI already have assigned flea market spaces. Can I get spaces next to them?

A:  There are no guarantees of space assignments.  If you would like a space (s) adjoining your existing spaces, submit a note along with your registration card and check. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request. Again, there are no guarantees.

Q:  How do I get a car corral space (s)?

A:  Same as above to request a registration card. There will be a (3) space limit for pre-registered car corral requesters. Spaces are approximately 10’ X 20’. Cars must be at least 25 years old, AACA recognized and driven onto the car corral field. Street rods are prohibited. Car corral spaces will be sold for $100.00 per space and space is limited. Assignment of spaces will be in order of post mark on mailing envelope.  If available car corral spaces will be sold at the fall meet starting Wednesday October 10th, 2007 at 7:00a.m. There are no guarantees of available space (s) on days of the meet. There is a (2) space limit on car corral spaces sold during the meet.

Q:  How do I show my vehicle at Hershey?

A:  Same as above to request a registration card.  You must be an AACA member and the vehicle must be at least 25 years old and recognized by AACA. Only one vehicle may be registered per card (additional cards requested for additional vehicles). The vehicle that was registered is the only vehicle authorized on the show field.

Q:  How do I register for other activities?

A:  Same as above to request a registration card.  You can register for the following activities:

1. Antique Vehicle Trailer Parking
2. Thursday and Friday Tours
3. Saturday Ladies Luncheon
4. Saturday evening awards banquet
5. “Juniors at Hershey”

Q:  How do I arrange to rent a handicapped cart?

A:  Electric mobility units are available for rent to those with a handicapped tag issued by the state in which you reside. Scooter Bug, Inc. has been contracted again this year to provide the handicapped carts.  To pre-register for a handicapped cart phone 781-933-3120.

Q:  Can I bring my personal scooter to the meet?

A:  You can use your personal electric mobility vehicle after it is registered at any of the flea market field entrance tents or by Scooter Bug, located in the Hersheypark service center.  Register by showing your state issued handicap parking placard.

Q:  Can I use my personal golf cart to travel around the fields?.   AND   Q:  Unauthorized Moving Vehicles

A:  For the safety of our visitors and members, moving vehicles,  including motorbikes, scooters, roller blades, skateboards, mini-bikes, motorcycles and privately owned motorized carts, are not  permitted to operate on the flea market, car corral or show fields.

EXCEPTIONS:  Handicapped registered, electric scooters or electric golf carts.  To handicap register your electric vehicle, go to any flea market field entrance tent or to the Scooterbug office located in the Hersheypark service center, and show your state issued handicap parking placard.

QFlea Market Spaces

A:  General Comments:

bulletThe reproduction or sale of windshield stickers is prohibited

A:  Transfer of Vendor Space (s):

A vendor may transfer their space (s) to another AACA member by submitting a signed notarized letter to The Hershey Region AACA Headquarters, PO Box 305 , Hershey , PA 17033 .  The letter must include the space (s) to be transferred, the new vendor’s name, address, phone number and a copy of the current AACA membership card (of the new vendor).

Q:  How do I obtain a Pennsylvania state sales tax number (required for all fall meet vendors)?

A:  Go to http://www.pa100.state.pa.us/ for information and registration.
